Eddie Benitez Jr grew up in Brooklyn, NY as one of the sons of legendary Guitarist, Eddie Benitez. Throughout his childhood, Eddie Jr always felt there was something different about him. At the age of 6, Eddie Jr remembered being visited by an unknown being not of the real world, but could not really explain this phenomena. He would often seek comfort from his grandmother, Carmen Benitez who had a very special gift with the spiritual world. Eddie Jr continued to focus on his school work and sports (baseball, basketball and track & field) which he excelled as he was offered a sports scholarship at one of the universities in NY. Due to a sports injury his first year in college, Eddie Jr decided on an alternate career into business management.
Eddie Jr followed his family to Arizona where he continued in business management. Shortly after the move, Eddie Jr discovered again he was different from everybody else as he encountered an unknown force. This force was different than those he felt as a young child, much stronger with a sense of evil. With the help of his father, Eddie Jr was able to overcome and deal with his special gift, bringing him closer to god.
Today, Eddie Jr is following his father’s footsteps in the music industry by opening his own marketing & promotion company, “Jazz E Entertainment”. Eddie Jr has learned to accept the fact that he will be living a normal life with a special twist. There are times when people come to him for help as he lives his life wondering what will come his way next.

Meet Julian Sosa - A Haunting Episode
Julian Sosa, a young and upcoming American actor of Puerto Rican decent was born on August 1, 1988 in Queens, New York. He is the son Legendary Latin Jazz Guitarist Eddie Benitez. Julian’s first desire to become a performer was at age 10, when he learned to play the guitar and keyboard. As a young child, he always enjoyed picking up the guitar when his father, Eddie Benitez had his musician friends over to the house. Surrounded by the world of entertainers, Julian’s interest moved towards acting by the time he entered middle school. Julian’s passion for acting was influenced by the movie classics from the ‘30’s and ‘40’s, admiration for the great late Spencer Tracy. Julian created his own independent studies in acting and directing from various countries around the world. Julian attended a dance school where he studied ballroom, salsa and dance. Throughout his high school years, the talent of his acting and directing was displayed in high school and community theaters in Phoenix, Arizona. Julian has attended many Theater Workshops lead by prominent actors in Los Angeles.
Julian’s first television appearance occurred in 2007, lead role in “A Haunting” – Casa de los Muertos as the oldest son of Eddie Benitez. He auditioned with hundreds of other actors for the part of Eddie, Jr under the name of Julian Sosa. The casting team was not aware at the time that he was the son of Eddie Benitez. Julian did not want his father’s last name to influence the casting role. Julian was cast the lead based on his acting skills. Julian’s performance in “Casa de los Muertos” was very dynamic and powerful as the role of Eddie Jr.
Julian’s future projects include, The story of George Benson, Cheri, plus many more.

Legendary guitarist Eddie Benitez played in a private show in Phoenix AZ, this was the topic of discussion by several people in attendance after the show in 2003.The mystery of Eddie Benitez started in 1976 when he signed with Fania/CBS records, with his first release "Nightlife" at age 14, 6 months later another hit, "Essence of Life", both went gold as he performed/mentored with legendary stars, Tito Puente, Mongo Santamaria and many others, throughout his young music career.
His performing career came to a sudden halt when Eddie was diagnosed with Hodgkins at a young age of 23. This changed his life forever as he survived the cancer and took time off to reflect on life and spirituality. He continued to write music over the years. His music is a blend of Smooth Jazz, NewAge, and Latin written from his heart that filled with love, passion, and devotion. Throughout his life, Eddie has had many spiritual visions while overcoming a heart attack and an unexplained 3 day coma. Eddie was under investigation for massive healings in his Florida home. "There is no healer, but faith in God, Christ and in yourself" Eddie told the investigators.
One of Eddie’s spiritual hauntings was documented and recreated for the Discovery Channel series "A Haunting" - Casa de los Muertos. The special show will be featuring Eddie’s music from past to present. Collaboration with Reknown guitarist, Paul "Sequence Ferguson" on a couple of Eddie’s new tracks.
